Week 16 on Keto

As a result of my weight being stagnant for a couple of weeks, I decided to come out of Ketosis and then go through 5 days of no carbs (as much as possible) this week. Coming out of Ketosis at the end of last week shot my weight up and then it crashed down with the 5 days no carbs.  I lost 2.4KG this week with a total net weight loss of 10.8KG. This is not the lowest I have been on the Keto challenge, I am however feeling happy with the results of the no carbs and plan to do it again in about a month or so. Below is what I ate and did this week Day 106 Weight(kg):  78.2 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:          1 cup of cooked spicy ground beef + 3 Tbs of butter  Supper:         1 cup of cooked spicy ground beef + 3 Tbs of butter Exercise:       30 minutes exercise on Lift App                           1 hour walk on the trails  Comments:   0.6KG drop. GREAT start to the week!!!!!!!!!!  Day 107 Weight (kg) :   77.7 Breakfast:    Skipped Lunch:          1 cup of cooked spicy ground beef +

Week 12 on Keto

I traveled mid-week. So, my ketosis went out the window. I didn't weigh myself on my trip. So, I will take a break and will resume when I get back in a couple of weeks. Below is what I ate and did this week Day 78 Weight(kg):  76.4 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:           Salad - Spinach Shrimp Bacon Yumminess   Supper:         10 Oz Lamb Steak      Exercise:       37 minutes of exercise using the  Lift Session App                       50 minutes walk Comments:   Another 0.1KG bump up... Hmm.... Day 79 Weight (kg) :   76.6 Breakfast:    Skipped Lunch:           Diet Dr Quesadilla Supper:         Cheese Burger   Exercise:        50   minutes walk outside Comments:   Up 0.2KG... Hmm.... Why the jump? Day 80 Weight (kg) :   76.1 Breakfast:     Skipped Lunch:            Salad - Spinach Shrimp Bacon Yumminess   Supper:          10 Oz Steak Exercise:        1.5 hr. walk Comments:  0.5KG drop Woot! Week 11 on Keto

This was a very flat week. Characterized by what I call "Nothing to see here.... move along...". For the first time on this keto challenge, my weight at the end of the week was the same as what I started with at the beginning of the week. So, net loss of 0KG for a total  10.9KGs  lost. Still pretty excited though. 👏👏👏👏 I will be heading to my sister's next week for a break, so, I am not sure my weight will fair any better than it did this week. I am still excited though. Below is what I ate and did this week Day 71 Weight(kg):  76.3 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:           Bacon and egg Quesadilla Supper:        Nigerian Asun       Exercise:       37 minutes of exercise using the  Lift Session App                       40 minutes practicing my newly acquired bicycling skills Comments:   Weight stayed the same.
