Jan 2021 on Keto

OK. So it has been loooooooonnnnng that I posted on here. I have been keeping tabs of what has been going on in a google sheet which I will transcribe in chunks here very shortly. Bottom line is that I have lost a total of 17.3KGs since the beginning of my journey which is a whooping 38.06lbs ... Woot! Woot!!! Woot!!!!! I should mention that I have also introduced intermittent fasting for its over all health benefits which include weight loss and weight stabilization. The Tracking format changed a bit to reflect eating, fasting and what I ate So here goes.

Week 18 on Keto

Last week was good, I am hoping this week will be great.  I ended up exactly where I ended last week. So, even though I dropped below 76KG this week, I went back up again. 0KG lost for a total of 11.2KG lost  Below is what I ate and did this week Day 120 Weight(kg):  76.4 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:           Keto Lasagna    Supper:         10 Oz steak  Exercise:       33 minutes exercise on Lift App                            45 minutes walk Comments:   Up 0.4KG. This seems to be the story of the beginning of every week. Well, let's hope the rest of the week goes better. Day 121 Weight (kg) :   76.6 Breakfast:    Skipped Lunch:          3 strips of Bacon & 3 fried eggs   Supper:         3 fried chicken drumsticks and fried cottage cheese Exercise:        30 minutes walk                            33 minutes exercise on Lift App Comments:   Up 0.2KG, hmmm. This is getting discouraging!!!!!!!  Day 122 Weight (kg) :   76.3 Breakfast:     Skipped Lunch:          3 strips of Baco

Week 17 on Keto

OK, so, this is the week following the no carb. We'll see if I drop any weight this week or just yo-yo along. I ended up dropping 0.6KG this week. Although there was a lot of ups and downs. To be honest, I just want to see 75.xxxxx. I have been dancing around this 76.xxxxxx for so long that I almost think I am stuck there. Net weight loss is at this point is 11.2KG  Below is what I ate and did this week Day 113 Weight(kg):  76.9 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:           Cheeseburger Casserole   Supper:        10 Oz steak  Exercise:       33 minutes exercise on Lift App                            45 minutes bike riding Comments:   Up 0.5KG What another GREAT beginning to the week NOOOT!!!!!!!! Day 114 Weight (kg) :   76.6 Breakfast:    Skipped Lunch:          3 strips of Bacon & 3 fried eggs   Supper:        1 spicy fried whiting fish Exercise:        30 minutes bike riding                            33 minutes exercise on Lift App Comments:   Down 0.3KG. Week 16 on Keto

As a result of my weight being stagnant for a couple of weeks, I decided to come out of Ketosis and then go through 5 days of no carbs (as much as possible) this week. Coming out of Ketosis at the end of last week shot my weight up and then it crashed down with the 5 days no carbs.  I lost 2.4KG this week with a total net weight loss of 10.8KG. This is not the lowest I have been on the Keto challenge, I am however feeling happy with the results of the no carbs and plan to do it again in about a month or so. Below is what I ate and did this week Day 106 Weight(kg):  78.2 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:          1 cup of cooked spicy ground beef + 3 Tbs of butter  Supper:         1 cup of cooked spicy ground beef + 3 Tbs of butter Exercise:       30 minutes exercise on Lift App                           1 hour walk on the trails  Comments:   0.6KG drop. GREAT start to the week!!!!!!!!!!  Day 107 Weight (kg) :   77.7 Breakfast:    Skipped Lunch:          1 cup of cooked spicy ground beef +

Week 15 on Keto

I am feeling a little de-motivated. I will try to keep myself going though.  OK, so keeping myself going didn't last all through the week. I decided to come out of Ketosis and then go back in to see if that will restart my weight loss. As a result, I gained 1.3KG this week and my weight loss total is at 8.4KG. What a retrogression 😭😭😭😭 Below is what I ate and did this week Day 99 Weight(kg):  77.5 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:          3 strips of Bacon & 3 eggs baked  Supper:         Cheeseburger Casserole   Exercise:       2 hrs. walking the trails                            45 minutes bike riding Comments:   What a GREAT regression!!!!!!!! I have gone back to where I was a couple of weeks ago. I will keep on keeping on though  Day 100 Weight (kg) :   77.6 Breakfast:    Skipped Lunch:          2 strips of Bacon & 4 eggs baked  Supper:         1 cup of cauliflower rice Exercise:       30 minutes bike riding                            33 minutes exercise on Lift App Com

Week 14 on Keto

An all over the place week. I have been exercising by riding my bike for about 40 minutes per day but it looks like I need to step up my exercise. Lost 0.6KG this week with a net loss of 10.5KG. Means I am still on the right track. Trying to keep myself motivated.  Below is what I ate and did this week Day 92 Weight(kg):  77.3 Breakfast:    Skipped  Lunch:          4 strips of Bacon & 3 eggs fried in butter  Supper:         1 cup of cauliflower rice      Exercise:       45 minutes bike riding Comments:   0.3KG jump.
